Deleting your data
How to remove an account and erase the records on a phone.
Last updated 4 October 2026 · Version 1.7
There is no account to close
Accounts in this app exist on the phone they were created on. We hold none of them, so there is nothing for us to delete on your behalf and no request queue to wait in. Deletion happens on the device, immediately, and you can confirm it yourself.
Removing one person's access
The owner opens Settings, then Team, picks the officer or cashier and bans them. Their password is deleted there and then, they are signed out, and no new work can be assigned to them. Do it the day somebody leaves.
Their name stays on the payments and handovers they recorded, on purpose. Removing it would break the reconciliation of money they actually handled, and a ledger you can quietly rewrite is not a ledger.
Erasing everything on a phone
The owner opens Settings and taps “Erase this phone's data”. It asks twice, then removes every customer, loan, payment, staff member, branch, photo reference and account from the device and signs you out.
When the confirmation finishes, the records on that phone are gone. Print or export anything you need to keep, a loan book is usually something the law expects you to hold on to, before you tap it.
Uninstalling the app does the same thing, and so does Clear data in your phone's settings: the operating system removes the app's private storage along with it. The app is built so that nothing survives that. It is excluded from Android's automatic backup, so a reinstall does not quietly restore an old copy from your Google account, and the keys it keeps outside that storage, the one that encrypts the records and the one that identifies this handset to the server, are erased the next time the app opens with its data gone. A phone that has had the app removed cannot reach the business again without somebody signing in with a password.
Anything already sent to the server stays there, and comes back the next time somebody signs in. Erasing a phone is the right thing to do before handing it to someone else; it is not how you delete a business. That is below.
Deleting the business from the server
If your business uses sync, the owner can delete the whole of it, every client, loan, payment and photograph, every staff account, and the business itself. It is in Settings, under the erase option, and it asks you to type the business name back before it will run.
- What goes
- The database, the photographs in storage, and the sign-in accounts. Staff are signed out immediately and cannot sign back in.
- How long it takes
- Immediately, though backups held by Google roll off within 30 days as part of their normal cycle.
- What stays
- Whatever is still on each phone, until that phone is erased or uninstalled. And anything you exported, shared or printed yourself. That left our reach the moment you sent it.
There is no undo and no support request that will bring it back. If somebody else in the business needs the records, get them off the phones first.
Removing one customer
The app has no per-customer delete today, because a customer is tied to loans, payments and a cash position that stop adding up without them. If a customer asks you to erase their record and you have no legal reason to keep it, erase the device's data and re-enter the records you are required to hold, or write to us and we will tell you where that stands in the current version.
We would rather admit this than pretend to a delete button that leaves the data behind.
Asking us
Write to support@tizaksoftware.com with the business name and the phone involved. We will answer within 30 days. If your business does not use sync, the honest answer is that we hold nothing of yours beyond your email and the message you sent, and we will delete that on request. If it does, we will delete the business's data from the server once we can confirm you are the owner.
